Hi there, I'm Amy...

Mum of two, doula, antenatal educator, and unapologetic birth nerd.

Here are some things I need you to know:

Birth is usually hard... but you can do it. And you can do it in a way that's right for you.

You don't need to leave your dignity at the door.

You don't have to do things the way social media (or anyone else) tells you to.

How you feel about your birth will impact the rest of your life. And your first one isn't a practice run.

You have absoluely got this.

And if you want my help...

That's what i'm here for.

How did I end up here?

Basically I gave birth. And that experience changed my life forever.... setting me off on a path knowing exactly what I needed to do. I needed to let people know that birth doesn't have to be something you suffer through to get a baby at the end. It's an opportunity for an immense and transformative experience, and something that should be truly celebrated.

Since 2020 I have offered evidence based antenatal education and since then I have been lucky enough to be invited into the birth space, supporting my wonderful clients through home births, VBACs, HBAC's, inductions, planned caesareans, long labours, fast labours, and everything in between. No two births (or families) are ever quite the same.

Witnessing birth in all its messy, unpredictable glory will always feel like a huge privilege to me.

Experience & training

As a full on birth nerd, I’ve completed a range of trainings over the years, including the Birth Uprising Hypnobirthing teacher training, Side by Side Doula training, Biomechanics for Birth, Optimal Birth, and Aromatherapy and massage for Childbirth. Each has widened my knowledge base and added new tools to my toolkit.

As a doula, I have had the privilege of supporting a wide range of births, including home births, inductions, VBACs, HBACs, and caesareans. Sometimes things go perfectly to plan, and sometimes there are curveballs, but I'm here to tell you things don't have to be straightforward to be positive... what matters is that you feel seen, heard and respected - and that's what I am there to fiercely protect.
