Two birth workers, one independent midwife, one doula, with a shared passion for individualised care, birth rights, bodily autonomy, and pushing back against tick-box maternity care.

We're here for the honest conversations, the big questions, the stuff you wish someone would just explain properly.... all while building a community where you don't have to figure it all out alone.

Meet IRL
We run free monthly pregnancy meet-ups in Toton, right on the Notts and Derby border.
A safe, welcoming space to meet other pregnant people, chat openly about pregnancy and birth, ask the questions you might not feel comfortable asking elsewhere, and share experiences without judgement.
Come for the birth chat, stay for the cuppa and the community.

Pregnancy comes with a LOT of information, opinions and noise. It can be hard to know what to trust or where to turn. But you don't have to figure it all out alone.
Find your village, share experiences and connect with people who just get it. Join our WhatsApp community to chat with other local parents-to-be, get peer support and hear about future meet-ups and opportunities to get together IRL.
The Rebellious Birth Club Rulebook
We don't judge anyone else for their choices.
Whether you're planning a home birth, considering an induction, preparing for an HBAC or VBAC, or having a Caesarean, you're welcome here. We're all about informed choices, individual circumstances and supporting each other...not telling anyone else how they should give birth.
We're here to challenge the system, not each other.
We exist to challenge conveyor-belt maternity care, the one-size-fits-all approach that leaves families feeling unheard, pressured and disempowered. We're not anti-intervention. We're anti the unnecessary overuse of intervention, coercion, racism and the harm this causes to whole families. We believe everyone deserves respectful, individualised care, genuine informed choice and the freedom to make decisions about their own body and birth.
We give you information, not instructions.
We can't tell you what to do (or not do), give medical advice and we'd never pretend to know what's right for you. What we can do is share evidence-based information, trusted resources, shared experiences and peer support, to help you figure out what's right for YOU.
